Thanks for the tips, these are great! I think my little boy will be just as excited so hoping he’ll be the same as your little one 😆 xx
We did 2 11-hour flights last year and our girls were 2/3 (birthday on hols) and 5 and honestly the tablet is gonna be your best friend!! We found lots of snacks and not overdoing it with activities worked best (so they weren’t overwhelmed) colouring was a good option! - we squeezed in a 3 hour nap that helped a bunch too 😅
In have taken my 4 year lg on a 2.5 hour flight there and back twice so far - once with partner when she was 2.5years and then on my own at almost 4 years and can say that tablet with pre-downloaded favourite cartoons was helpful and also colouring-in books and stickers books. And lots of snacks 😆 she also likes to play with little figurines like peppa pig or Gaby’s dollhouse so we brought those and she played with those quite a bit. And I have to say, I expected it to be really hard and was bracing myself for the experience but she was so so good that it was a pleasure to travel with her - she was just really excited the whole time (and one of the flights was delayed by 2.5 hours 🫣), and maybe I just got lucky, I don’t know, but it might be the same for you - fingers crossed 😆 x
