Me too ! And heaps of hair falling out … iv been using less heat and using lots of treatments and oils but it’s still not improved much … I’m beginning to lose hope lol - visited my dr and apparently it gets better with time ( hoping so)
I’m also losing a ton of hair. I heard it could take another 2 months for me (I have an almost 4 month old) and I’m so worried about my hair getting in his little fingers. One got wrapped around real tight in the beginning so I’m constantly on the lookout and swiffering / vacuuming hair 😅
@Megan I sware me too ! It’s horrendous, It was getting better and up until a week ago it’s started falling out again 🤷♀️iv restarted taking vitamin D about a week ago I’m hoping it will kick in soon 💐💐💐
@Natalie I’ll have to try more vitamin D. My symptoms were strange but predictable at first. Month one - brittle chipping nails. My skin glowed and hair was normal. Then month two my skin got really dry. Nails and hair were unaffected. (I usually have dry skin so that’s where I ended up now). And month 3 was when the hair loss started.
The ends of mine are like straw I’ve never had hair like this and it’s greasy at the root and hour after washing and drying it I’m losing my mind
My hairdresser suggested that I apply small amount of pure coconut oil on ends like every other day , sometimes I do every day. My hair was bleached before so now 4 months pp it’s falling and it’s drier than a dessert bush. I am also applying castor oils and rosemary drops to my scalp 1-2 a week hoping for the best
Nothing. Learned to accept it and love myself for it
my hair felt like straw PP so i started using a hair mask instead of conditioner and that seemed to help so much! x
@Megan sounds about right the timeline of everything l, I have confirmed with my doctor that it does get better ❤️🩹 just waiting for that day 😔
Hair masks every shower (leave in for 15 mins) and hair oil after every shower. NO HEAT OR STYLING until hair is back to healthy, avoid heat, it can damage it more, and wear your hair in protective gentle styles ie. Loose Hair clip instead of tight ponytail. Also avoid overfishing hair, it can strip out natural oils. I was mine 2 times a week
Go back to middle school whatever you did to manage your hair do the same thing now I promise u will not only grow your hair but comfort yourself
Mines gone the other way and it's greasy which I am not enjoying!
