Low dose aspirin

I got a call from the midwife saying that my hormone level is slightly lower than average and to start taking low dose aspirin following my blood test last week. Has anyone else had this? I didn’t have this with my first and it’s really stressing me out. My first was a big baby so I would doubt baby no2 would be small. I feel so stressed, has anyone else had this pleas? I’m 14 weeks now X

I’m on low dose aspirin this time round. Due to my first being quite small & my placenta not working as it should hence why aspirin helps x

Have you got low PPAP-A? I am the same. I don't think its anything to really worry about if you haven't got any further symptoms. You will just get a bit more monitoring. I'm taking the low dose aspirin also. X

@Sam they didn’t say if it was low ppap a just said the hormone level was slightly lower than should be. Are you taking 2 of the 75mg aspirin? X

Yup 2 x 75mg. I didn't even get a phone call haha, it just came up on my notes. And then the prescription from the doctors was sent straight to my pharmacy. X

@Sam no wayyy! That’s so bad they can’t even call you to talk it through. Although I don’t have an app and she said I have to go to the shops and buy it myself 😂 x

Ive got to take asprin 150g aspirin day, and got to have additional scan (every 2 weeks) and yo see a consultant too from 28 weeks But I have low PAPP-A
