I feel guilty that I’m moving him to his own room in the next few weeks. We currently co-sleep with a sidecar crib and he gets into bed with me at about 3am or 5am and I really love co-sleeping but I think it’s worth a shot putting him in his own space so we’ve ordered a bed and we’ll see 😩🫠 He’s also ebf and settling him when he wakes up is so much easier and better for both of us.
God no, we co sleep and I can’t see that changing any time soon!
50/50! Naps in her own room, as well as half of bedtime because she goes to sleep way before we do. If she wakes for a feed i bring her in and we cuddle & feed for the rest of the night 🥰 works really well for us as we now have evenings to ourselves
Still sleeping in our room but in her big girl cot!!
Don't feel guilty at all. 6 months isn't the absolute date to do it. It's the absolute minimum age it's considered safe. I'm not ready yet, she still fits in her next to me so I'm happy not to move her until her feet are touching the end! I'm also still breastfeeding her in the night. My partner suggested I'd get more sleep but not when I'd have to go and get her settle her to feed, then take her back, settle her again. Makes no sense. She's only just started coming up on her own for naps and when she goes down for the night.
