Balloon catheter

It got me to 3cm, then the next day I was 1cm but it sent me into spontaneous labour and I kept dilating naturally until I got my waters broken x

Hey girl, in hospital atm being induced! Had two failed pessary, the balloon catheter was place at 6pm yesterday, fell out at around 2pm this afternoon and I was 3cm dilated, waiting on a bed in labour to have my waters broken. I will say having it placed is very uncomfortable, I wouldn’t say painful but extremely uncomfortable especially as they have to do a cervical exam 5 mins before so you’ll already be slightly sore! Best thing I did was ask them to put a stopper in the end of the tube, whilst you dilate the tube slowly leaks bits of blood and it just made me feel slightly grimy! I tucked the tube of mine into the top of my shorts and underwear so I could move freely without it dangling down! Best of luck💘💘

Ah good luck I hope you get a bed soon ! I had mine inserted about 2pm today and have been sent home with it I had bloody discharge for about 4 hours and quite bad cramps still very uncomfortable but have to go back in tomorow as no beds on ward neither xx

I had mine put in Friday at around 2.30am, it fell out 3 hours later. The most frustrating bit is the waiting for sure! They offered me gas air to put it in but i didn’t need it
