Speech
Is anyone else's little one not talking.. I'm a bit worried, my son does a lot of vocal noises and whining but no speech. His nursery have raised they are worried about his speech as he should be talking more, we talk to him loads at home, ask him questions, use simple language but nothing 😔 x

My son is the exact same 🙈 I worry so much but they’ll get there I’m sure x
My daughter only says a few words but not sentences. My son who is a year older was exactly the same wouldn’t say many words or repeat after us he is nearly 3 and only started saying more words/sentences towards the end of last year x
My son is the same and like you still worried. Same as his paediatricians and Salt are also. If you havent already, I'd advise speaking to your gp (rather than HV as it can be quicker) for a referral to see a paediatrician who can then look further into this from a professional view x
My son doesn’t talk… we have the HV out tomorrow, so will let you know what she says x

yes 🙋🏻♀️ my son says the odd word but definitely not ‘talking’ and doesn’t repeat after us ever. Our nursery have said don’t worry until 2 years old as they are all different
