I'm in the same boat. Had HG with first pregnancy and got it again but worse with my second! Started at 6 weeks and still going at 11 weeks! So far the only thing that's keeping my nausea calmer is bed rest but still I'm throwing up 5+ times a day! Hoping it calms down in a couple of weeks 🙏🏼
It was the same with me in my second (HG) pregnancy. It was somehow quite a lot worse than my first. Try to reach out for as much medical, practical and emotional help as soon as possible. It’s such a hard thing to go through… The HER Foundation is a great HG charity in the USA.
I had it with all 3 of mine and started around the same time as you. I didn’t feel any better til atleast the second trimester maybe even later. Spent a lot of time in the hospital unfortunately
Going through it for the second time again and it’s just as bad, unfortunately the only thing I can keep down this time and before was electrolyte pops and chicken soup, mainly the broth
I have HG for the second time. I’m 6 weeks and have already been admitted once for severe dehydration.
I keep holding off to be admitted, but I think it is time. I can't keep anything down, not even stuff i really want to eat or am craving, and I keep passing out. I am so sorry all of you have to experience this. It's literally horrible.
I tried to get a zofran pump, but my OB is struggling to find anyone who provides them. My last baby was in 2020 and apparently most of the pregnancy friendly home health in the area closed down during Covid.
Has anyone look into mirtazapine? It is antidepressant but also helps with nausea and stimulate appetite.
With my first started from 5 weeks and it ended 16 weeks. I know is very difficult 😬😬. The only thing that helped me were ginger biscuits
