Silly question

Wondering if it’d be ok to send my boy to nursery in shorts tomorrow… he’s still only crawling but my husband suggested shorts but I was like absolutely not! As it’s not carpeted and hard wood floor. Am I being OTT and would you let your LOs crawl around without joggers/tights of some form? I dunno why but I just feel like it’d hurt his knees 😂 but with this weather I do think he’d be better in shorts. Help a mother out with a silly decision pleeease 😂
