Lower back pain

Hello - im nearly 3 months pp and ive experienced really bad lower back pain the past week and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Has anyone else had this after a c section, and what did you do to cure it?

That can be strained or pulled muscle. 3 months is still fresh, and everything is still healing. Take it easy. You can call a doctor for an opinion and see if they tell you to come in. 💛

I’m 5 months pp & have awful back pain at the moment. It’s been intermittent for a while but I suspect it’s due to my little one getting heavier & lifting her & her car seat 😅 I don’t think it’s c-section related. If you’re worried/things don’t improve then I’d definitely see your gp. I hope you feel better x

Yes!! I got stuck on the floor this evening as my lower back was twinging so bad! I’m trying to be more aware of my posture especially when feeding and changing baby, and trying to engage my core more in everyday movements 🙈 very painful though and think I will call the dr if it continues. Hope yours improves! And following for if anyone has any advice… 😅

Yes I found this after mine. I had an epidural followed by a spinal block for emergency section. I think it’s because of the needle going into your spine. I definitely had twinges for a while but thankfully no permanent back pain. I know prolactin is still quite high after pregnancy (especially when you breastfeed) so you see more flexible and prone to injury. Posture is important and making sure you don’t overstretch x

I had this for almost a year because of the spinal block.
