Dr’s C-section style = stretch marks or not

Does anyone else think the way their doctors style of pulling the baby out during C-section caused them stretch marks? 2x C-section mom here with no stretch marks or scar. I have a new doctor this time and am afraid if doctor isn’t as delicate during birth with my skin the way she takes the baby out could cause damage to my skin / unnecessary stretch marks.

I think surgery might cause marks although I’m not entirely sure. I didn’t have many stretch marks whilst pregnant but they appeared after the c-section. I’m not sure whether they just appear at that point but were caused by pregnancy or whether they were indeed caused by the section. Never really thought about it before, just accepted that I have them now.

It's more of a genetic factor and how much your skin actually expands during pregnancy.

I don’t think they’re stretching the skin any more than it had already been stretched by pregnancy

Not the same but I had a normal delivery (if you could really call it that) but I had stretch marks show up after delivery.

I had horrific bruising after my c section from scar to belly button but not gained any stretch marks 😬

I accidentally hit surgery might cause marks. I don’t think that can really happen as stretch marks come from rapid weight gain. Now I know my best friend saw that after her c-section, the stretch marks she already had seemed to worsen after surgery, but then they got much lighter.

I got worse stretch marks after a vaginal delivery, i think its just the way the scarring works. Didnt notice anything different with my c section
