@Naomi oh no, why’s that?
I gave birth at Lenox Hill in December. I think the nurses were wonderful, and my OB (Therese Gadomski) was the absolute best. I will say that the lactation consultants weren’t the best…
Oh, also, I heard they just renovated their rooms, and everyone gets their own room now? I’m not 100% on that - It wasn’t like that when I gave birth and I paid an extra $600 for one night so I wouldn’t have to share with someone else.
@Olga Thank you for commenting! And wow I’ve never heard of a hospital charging someone for a private room! I’ll definitely confirm this with my ob. I’m comfortable with her so I really hope that’s the case now. How was the food there?
The food was pretty decent actually! They had a menu with many options, and I didn’t have a bad meal there
Ok that’s good. It sounds like overall it was good experience except for the lactation consultants so hopefully that’s improved. If you don’t mind me asking how long did you stay? And did they honor your birth plan or were they just trying to get the process moving?
Haven’t been there but from what I’ve heard it’s bad news
