Skin To Skin - Dads
My husband has a hairy chest and he wants to do skin to skin. Does he need to have shaved prior as I see videos of dad with a clean chest. My only thought process is you never know when you’re going to go into labour and when you shave your hair it grows back practically same day and don’t want it to be spikey for baby.

She’s 15 weeks now and only started really hanging on in the past few weeks. At the very beginning she wasn’t fussed by it - just slept. Then around 4 weeks, she started to notice it and we’d have to almost comb it as flat as possible as she seemed a bit bothered by it (I mean, I get it. I am if I lay on his chest. It gets up my nose and tickles my face sometimes). But she’s never really been phased by it. She now grips on well 😂

No. My partner is an incredibly hairy man especially on his chest and he didn’t shave. He’s done, and still does, skin to skin without issue.
