Chickenpox

I think we’ve been hit with chickenpox 😩 If your 13 month old has had it how bad was it? Any tips for dealing with it?

My daughter seems ok so far but the rash has only just appeared over the course of today.

Her elder sister has had the vaccine so I’ve not dealt with it before. Hadn’t gotten around to booking the appointment yet for my youngest! Guess I’ll save the money now although I’ll lose it in wasted nursery fees while she’s excluded 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Personally, my daughter who is 13 months has not had chicken pox because she is vaccinated but my sister caught it off me and my other sister when she was a baby (probably around the same age) and it wasn’t too bad. She did get it again once she started school though which they say normally happens if they catch it as a baby.
