Hi, anyone got any tips for brushing little ones teeth? My little boy has decided a couple weeks ago that he doesn't want us to do it! He'll do it himself, but hes basically just having a chew and taste of the toothpaste 🫤

My son has just turned 14 months and his sleep is honestly terrible at the moment. It hasn’t been good in about 6 months now but I feel like it’s actually getting worse, which I didn’t think was possible. I think he’s transitioning from needing 2 day naps to only needing 1 but his naps and his night sleep are all over the place. Some nights he will only sleep 8.5 hours and it’s broken sleep. He can have anything from 1.5 to 3 hours of nap time in a day because of this. But it’s getting really hard to fit 2 naps into a day as he stays awake for 5-6 hours at a time! He also HATES going into his cot/own room now. As soon as I put him down in there he will start crying and it won’t stop. If he wakes at night I will rock him back to sleep in his room and the second I put him down in his cot he will be awake and crying again. This has been happening for the last week. Please someone tell me I’m not the only one!

I think we’ve been hit with chickenpox 😩 If your 13 month old has had it how bad was it? Any tips for dealing with it?

My daughter seems ok so far but the rash has only just appeared over the course of today.

Her elder sister has had the vaccine so I’ve not dealt with it before. Hadn’t gotten around to booking the appointment yet for my youngest! Guess I’ll save the money now although I’ll lose it in wasted nursery fees while she’s excluded 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m pretty sure my 13 month old is getting his first molars. He is screaming and crying for most of the day at the moment and his sleep is terrible. He’s crying/whining in his sleep and waking up every hour or less crying! I’ve been giving him nurofen before bed and using anbesol liquid in the day but it doesn’t relieve the pain for long. Has anyone else’s little ones cut their first molars yet? How long did it take for them to cut through?

We are on the second 1 hour induction of nursery for my 13 month old. I feel SO full of guilt and I can’t stop crying. She is meant to be starting Monday, jumping straight in to a full day (I’ll be dropping her off later and picking her up early, full day straight away is too much IMO). I work shifts which means she is still going on days I’m at home which I hate the thought of. My mum could have her instead of her going to nursery but I feel like she will come on so much at nursery and they’ll teach her things my mum isn’t able too. I don’t know what I want from this post but needed to vent 🥲🥲🥲 One sad Mama who feels lost without her baby 😢
