Nursery guilt 😭

We are on the second 1 hour induction of nursery for my 13 month old. I feel SO full of guilt and I can’t stop crying. She is meant to be starting Monday, jumping straight in to a full day (I’ll be dropping her off later and picking her up early, full day straight away is too much IMO). I work shifts which means she is still going on days I’m at home which I hate the thought of. My mum could have her instead of her going to nursery but I feel like she will come on so much at nursery and they’ll teach her things my mum isn’t able too. I don’t know what I want from this post but needed to vent 🥲🥲🥲 One sad Mama who feels lost without her baby 😢

Oh mama, it's not an easy transition at all! My girl had a 1 hour, then 2 hours, then 3 hours then jumped straight in the next week to 9.5 hour days!😵‍💫 I didn't know what to do with myself at first and she does still get upset sometimes when we drop her off but all in all she's settled so well, we've seen quite a few happy pictures of her at nursery and a couple of times she's seemed a bit sad to be leaving 🥺 I can already see her coming on developmentally and she's only been going just over a month. I'm sure your little girl will love it, and the socialisation will be SO good for her 💜

It really isn’t easy is it! Feel so lost without her 😥 Good to hear how your little babe has come on so much already, that’s exactly why she’s going and what I’m hoping happens with mine 🥺💗

Awh I'm sure it will! It's horrible right now but wait until she comes home with something that she's made (my daughter came home with something for Mother's Day, and decorated a biscuit for Easter), it'll all be worth it 🥹

We’ve had one full day before I go back to work tomorrow and it was strange. I went for a swim, got my hair done and picked her up early too. I cried when she went in as she got upset and was g great in the morning but settled by the afternoon. It’ll get easier

Oh that’s great to hear! I bet you felt like you’d lost a limb. We haven’t had our first day yet as she’s poorly so couldn’t go, great start! 😞

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
