I had a wonderful experience, the care I received was second to none. I went in on the 4th March at 36+2 weeks due to bleeding. They brought my c section forward and once they were in and got her out they said my placenta had ruptured. Staff on both wards delivery and maternity where all brilliant. Everyone has good and bad so please don't let it put you off. I've heard people having bad experiences in James cook but no body has done an article on that xx
I gave birth at North Tees in December, and I couldn't fault the care. The midwives were absolute angels! The food is absolutely rank though, so I just ate the sandwiches and ice cream 😂
Omg, don’t. I’m so scared now, I’m due to give birth here in 4 months x
I gave birth there in April and had a lovely experience. I was induced early and was seen to by multiple midwives. Every single member of staff was brilliant and made my experience so special. I honestly couldn’t fault them xx
My experience was lovely , I had to have a c section and the staff were very nice , and made me feel at ease I couldn’t fault them at all x
i gave birth in january at north tees and as a whole it was absolutely spot on. had rubbish midwives when i first got onto the post natal ward (around 1pm) where they didn’t check up on me/give me painkillers/show me where my call button was until 7pm, but once the shift changed it was a completely different story and i was well looked after. one of the night midwives even ignored my partner sharing the bed with me so he could snooze as we’d gone 3 days with no sleep🤷♀️ i’d probably go back again if/when i have a second
they were great for me! i ended up having a c section and they were so informative and answered every single question, the midwives were lovely and attentive and listened when i said i needed painkillers or help with any little thing☺️x
