Hi mama's
I would really like to run through something and get some tips please!
I really want to have a second child in the future,my first is 3 months and we are doing well.
Issue is this , I don't have any family support of my own ,so no one to help with childcare during labour.
I do have a sil.
I'm someone who likes to prepare and play out scenarios.
For current child -I was in hospital for three days, baby had to be on antibiotics and my husband was literally shaking ,because he had no sleep.
He didn't want to leave me.I have friends but there not in a position to help me
I'm just thinking,if I am in hospital again for a couple days...
I am based in UK so no kids allowed on ward and my sil has a toddler of her own, wouldn't be fair to her to look after our kid for that long.
I know toddler being at school would shave time off their.
I know it's difficult raising kids without family support but it's the labour scenario that's making me hit a brick wall.

Personally for me I stayed in hospital after my c section and was very ill for 5 days and I made my partner go home because I needed him to be sane and able through those days and not sleep deprived. I know it’s hard but I would tell him to go home every night to get a proper nights sleep. You have nurses and midwives to ring the bell on x
@Kathryn yeah I will definitely be telling him to go home to sleep. No I don't unfortunately. As well as not being able to trust they aren't in a position to.
