Bottle teat size

What teat size do people use to give their breastfed baby? She’s 5 months and currently on a size 1 and has been since we intrusive a bed time bottle. However, she has recently started to refuse bottles and we aren’t sure if this is because the flow is too slow so is getting bored and would need to size up? Has anyone else experienced this and gig going up a size help? Thank you!🤍

Yes we went through this exact thing! Going up a teat size really helped. We tried a different type of bottle too (mam instead of lansinoh) but she hated it 😂

@Rachel thank you, will order some new tests and see if it helps!🤞🏻 we currently use Mam and never had a problem, but have wondered if lansinoh would be better the teats a bit more nipple shaped🤷🏻‍♀️

We went up to size 2 at around 2.5 months old, I’d say def size up.

Amazing, thank you! I’ve only been reluctant to do so because I still breastfeed for the rest of her feeds and when in the hospital the midwives said to make sure she still needs to work for her milk from a bottle to keep it somewhat similar to a breast feed! But will definitely go up a size and see if that makes a difference😁

When I expressed sometimes the milk would shoot outta there 😂 I think she should be fairly established with BF now so less risk if there is a mismatch but size 2 is still fairly slow so you should be fine x
