I know you stated no “ear gun” I was deterred by this as well . But our experience at Raspberry Lips in downtown Los Gatos was wonderful ! My daughter was a bit older 7 months , life got busy but we had planned to get her ears pierced at 3 months.

The entire ear piercing appointment took about 25 minutes tops . We opted for numbing cream -signed forms - picked out diamonds earrings and the piercer took her time matching both sides of the ears with a special pen . 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
