We are going away next week and my LG is now 1 year potty trained. My husband mentioned swim nappies which hadn't even crossed my mind.
Do you think these are still necessary given she has been potty trained for a full year now?
Also to add, I don't even think they would fit her as she is high percentiles for her age!

No definitely not, if she requires to go the toilet she will definitely ask you 🥰

My LG has been potty trained since August and when we go swimming she just tells me she needs to go and we go to the loo 😊

We still put my son in his, but only because I worry he’ll be too exposed without that extra layer 🙈

I think some swimming pools have policies in place saying that they have to wear swim nappies up to a certain age or a certain amount of time after potty training so that's something to consider.
However, generally no I wouldn't put my son in swim nappies now. They only hold poos anyway and my son would absolutely never poo not in a toilet. But for a wee also he would ask and we would get out of the pool and go.

My girls been toilet trained for over a year and I haven’t used swim nappies since about a month after she first went nappy free 🥳
