@Leonie she definitely could eat a bit more veg but sometimes it's hard to get her too but everything else is good. Yes she has had a couple of times where it's painful. My brother used to be the same when he was a toddler
My daughter suffers from constipation and has been to the doctor multiple times. She's on Movicol laxative now and that has helped massively. The doctor told me unfortunately some toddlers just suffer more then others and they will outgrow it once they get to school sort of age. All we can really do is help them with there intake of fibre and making sure there having a healthy, balanced diet and plenty to drink😊 It used to be painful for her to go & she used to hold it in as she hated going. But the laxatives have changed that now & she's much better😊xx
@Jessica definitely think I'll go to the doctor's then, it's not every single time but becoming more often than not, and guess she just gets it randomly x
Is she having a balanced diet with enough fruit, veg, fibre etc? If so, definitely go to the docs if it’s an ongoing issue. Our son has chronic constipation and it was really hurting him. He’s now on a very low daily dose laxative and we haven’t had any issues since really. It’s quite common in young kids apparently - we have a few friends with kids of the same medicine
