Gabapentin safe pregnancy?
Is gabapentin safe during pregnancy? I’ve had severe nerve pain for a very long time and I know some women will take gabapentin during pregnancy. Has anyone else used gaba during pregnancy and or know if it’s safe or not? Obviously I’d consult my doctor first but just curious. I also know some women have to take it for pregnancy if they have specific seizure disorders. I’m about 30 weeks pregnant. Thanks!

Animal studies show adverse effects on the fetus, but there's not enough research in humans. That being said, my sister was invited to be in a gabapentin study for hyperemesis during pregnancy, so pregnant women are taking gabapentin
I strongly recommend not taking it due to a personal experience
