Any cracks of light in the room? But potentially just a change in 24hr sleep needs ? Might need to cut a little day sleep. That’s always been the key for us when we get early wakes for more than 3-4 days we change routine slightly c
Yeah @Rosie makes really helpful points. We have a pitch black room and I’ve adjusted day sleep and it’s not made a difference so for me, I think it’s a case of riding out the molars. Also she is waking up chatting at 6 so probably a bit of a development thing too! I’m lucky she sleeps through but would like the dawn rise to end soon!
@Claire so hard isn’t it to know what’s going on 😆 We used a sleep consultant at 5m to help as I couldn’t cope any longer haha and she said any changes take a good 5-7 days to see a change in early rising xx
@Rosie haha snap! We are the same! I’ve always been responsive to her sleep but ultimately I don’t think we can outrun development and teething! As much as I would like to. Also without being a creep, I’ve seen you’re based in Sutton. Snap! So am I
@Claire yesss so refreshing to hear this 😆 I speak to so many people who are like yes they still sleep for 3 hours in the day why is my baby waking at 4-5am… as much as I’d love a 3 hour nap in the day I prefer my evenings and sleep hahahaa. Omg are you!! What a Small world! 🤣
@Rosie we are exactly the same. All about the 24 hour sleep tank. I wonder if we used the same consultant….. I am part time so if you ever fancied a meet up on a Wednesday, let me know
@Rosie she goes to nursery and her naps there can range from 20 mins to 2 hours and all of the days she’s been waking at the same time. She’s got two molars through already but I think her second tops and bottoms and two other molars are very close to cutting x
@Claire omg it sounds really similar 😆😆 - I do part time too, would love to at the park or something? X
@Rosie also we have black out blinds and curtains. She uses the calpol plug in (just as a night light) every night but that’s been the case for months too x
I've moved my girls bedtime as close to 8 as we can manage. That way she always wakes at 7am onwards. When we were putting her down at 7pm I was being awoken at 6am. 😭
@Annem I think by the time my LOnis actually asleep it’s usually 7:30ish. I’m going to try this tonight but I do enjoy my evenings 🤣😩
She’s had 4 molars back to back and it’s making her wake up earlier. She used to get up at 6:40ish and now it’s 6. I think they are really painful and they take so so long to come through
