What does your boy wear to swimming lessons?

I don’t know if I should put shorts on him or a full suit

Why would you put the whole suit on him, unless it's an open swimming pool and he will be exposed to very hot sun ...

I sent my boy to swimming lessons in shorts and shirt and got told the same as above. The shirt makes them cold it is better just to wear the shorts.

How old is he?

My 3yo wears top and shorts, my 16mo wears a full warming wetsuit- the pool is 30° and the swimming lesson company advise full wetsuits.

@Karen he’s 3

@Jessica oh okay, I’ll just get him a few shorts x

Oooh I see .... its a onsie, my boy wears just shorts ....he might be cold when this swimsuit is all wet

So from 0-2yrs he wore a long sleeve bathers w a reusable swim diaper under, and 2+ (toilet trained) if we’re on the beach he wears a full long sleeve top and shorts, matching hat and beach shoes, and at the pools sometimes just the shorts and he’s topless lol for casual swimming. We don’t go to lessons but we go swimming twice a week casually w friends in spring and summer. Pools, beach, splash parks and water parks. He’s a really good swimmer without the lessons but we swim a lot I like swimming also.

Shorts especially if toilet trained.

I don’t have a boy but I’d probably go for a full suit or rash vest and shorts just as the pool is sometimes a little chilly!
