Should I book a holiday abroad

I’m debating booking a holiday in Tenerife in September this year when my son is with his dad for a week. I don’t have a lot of money and if I did this I would possibly struggle for the next 4 months (but I would be able to do it) that’s the only downside, I would be 33 weeks pregnant by then. I want to go while we have the opportunity, as any other time would be a struggle for childcare as we want a holiday by ourselves and we will have a baby this year so it would be a while before I’m comfortable leaving the baby

Would you still be able to travel then?

@Sorrel can travel up to 34 weeks with letter of fit to fly from doctor if pregnancy is healthy and low risk

It depends how much you're going to struggle? Personally, I don't think that a holiday is worth struggling for the next 4 months for, if it meant I could pay all bills for the next 4 months comfortably and still have abit of cash left over then yeah I'd go

Why don't you just book a couple of nights away somewhere rather than a whole week abroad? As there's no way I'd have wanted to do that at 34 weeks!

@Becky I would be able to pay all my bills and the holiday and still be left with some money over for the rest of the month for anything I needed any extra bits

Ahhh, OK, if that's what you really want to do, then go for it. Enjoy 😉

@Rebecca we don’t go on holiday abroad, and uk there isn’t anywhere I would want to go and I’m sick of uk holidays personally, I don’t mind going abroad late on in pregnancy if I have insurance and I get to have all inclusive food and drinks, sun, pools and beaches and no children for the last time in god know how long will be the next time, then I think it’s worth it if I have the opportunity 🤷🏼‍♀️

Go and have fun in the sun 🌞
