Induction

When you are called by the dr how soon do they usually book you in for an Induction. They are wanting to Induce me at 39 weeks which is Monday for me. Am I likely to be booked in for Monday or at some point in that week?

Mine has been booked for bang on 41 weeks. Got a text about 10 minutes after my obstetrician appointment during which I point blank refused it. Needless to say, I'm not showing up for it! 🙄

Mine got booked whilst in an appointment with a dr, my first induction I just rang triage and said I need to be booked in as it was recommended (and chosen by us) by a dr, call your local hospital I’m sure they’ll have access to notes ect and can book it in for you

If you don’t want an induction don’t book one, you can decide to let baby come naturally x

I’m not sure if I want one or not tbf. If she hasn’t come by the time they’re looking to book one then I think I’d be happy to have one booked in but I do think with everything that’s happening atm she is likely to have started to make an appearance at least x

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
