I’ve been buying 500g for under £5 at ASDA. Some say it has to be Medjool, some say any dates are fine. I’m really enjoying them with some peanut butter and walnuts on top 😋 https://groceries.asda.com/search/Dates

Try pineapple, fresh and juice and raspberry leaf tea also xx

@Rebecca These look so much cheaper , idk why my morrisons only sells the fancy medjool dates that all in a tray 🤣

@Nicole Yes i have been having raspberry leaf tea with pineapple juice 😅

With the medjool dates they are bigger, juicier (taste much better IMO). As they are larger you only need approx 3-4 a day - I bought a pack on Amazon for £12 so a bit more expensive but comes with loads!!

If you go to world food shops they have big boxes of dates far cheaper than the supermarket and high quality ones too. Medinah dates I ate when I was pregnant and got addicted to them in the end haha

I bought medjool from Amazon. They were about £14 but hey ho. They look nice

Go to your local Muslim shops, you can buy like 20 dates for £3

waiteose sells a big bag for £4, I buy them in bulk when they're on offer ,x

I was always told medjool dates for first and second trimester and then sukkary dates in the third trimester. I would suggest going to your local world foods shops and you will find a relatively affordable selection to choose from.

Holland and Barrett or Tesco sell them cheaper than that :)

Do all the above and definitely go on long walks, it helped me so so so much

Is anyone else worried about how much sugar and calories this would be?

@Rebecca that combo sounds amazing!

@Emily I have cut out other sweet treats to help balance, but yes it is a lot of sugar!

@Rebecca oh that's a good plan! I guess as well we are eating them for health right now and this is what is good for right now!

Tunisian dates from the local halal shop were £4 for a huuge box If you can get to or get someone to get to a Costco, they have medjool in a big crate as well

Date is more cheaper in Asian stores
