How long have people had to wait after the gp has put a referral through to the allergy team?

@Victoria thankyou for replying! My gp was unsure so thought I would ask on here. I had a feeling it might have been a couple of months x
No worries! I think it varies dependent on the county. I was told it might be a year but when I initially saw the paediatrician she said as he was so little he would likely be seen quite quickly and thankfully we were. Hope you don’t have to wait too long! x
We waited three months and then they refused to do the test as they said it isn't accurate enough. I'm considering going private.

We’re in Norfolk. NHS referral was made in October, had an initial appointment in January with a paediatrician but then onward referred to the allergy paediatrician in February. Testing was done on the day of the second visit. We went private in between and the wait was about two weeks, though it would have been sooner if we were willing to travel to London but it wasn’t possible for us at the time x
