Trimming nails
How are we all cutting baby’s nails at the moment? I have an electric nail trimmer but she won’t let me trim them anymore, all she does is try and grab the trimmer and put it in her mouth! Any tips much appreciated?!

Forgot to add, I’m a single mum so have no one to help me!
I’ve stopped cutting my LO because it was too hard, he doesn’t seem to scratch himself much just more is it hurts when he grabs us
I just have to force her to let me do it. I have her on my lap and I trim them with clippers because it’s quicker. I usually get 1 or 2 done and then she has to have a mess about or a kick off and then we do the next 1 😂
I've been cutting while nap times since day1. Quick and easy!
I wait until my LO is napping. Usually best when he’s in the pram as I can get at both hands whilst he is napping. We’ve never been able to do it when he’s awake. We also just use baby scissors x
We use the electric one still but put him in front of TV and usually give him a toy to put in his mouth in the hand we aren’t trimming!
To be honest I bite them when she's asleep 🫣
I have a normal small nail clippers when she has a nap I cut her nails or else she won’t let me when she’s awake 🤣
