My almost 16 month had bit us a few times here and there but it wasn’t really a thing. The last two days, he has bit me over 5 times, leaving marks two of the times. What is the best strategy to get it to stop? Ignore? Redirect? Say no?
Definitely can't ignore or they'll start biting more.
Is your child doing it randomly? Or when frustrated?
If it's random, they're probably teething again! My daughter has started again and wants to bite people so we got her these long silicone straws to reach her back teeth.
When she was biting out of frustration, I would say NO very loud and look offended, put her down and say I dont like being hurt. Then I walk away from her or turn my back on her. She only tried it a few times until she realized it wasn't cute/funny.
But most likely your baby is teething again 🤷🏾♀️
No advice, but mine does the same thing.
@J.S. Jaees It’s more random and he is definitely teething. But doesn’t really like teethers
