Aptamil/Nuby

Hi! Does anyone else use Aptamil formula and the nuby rapid cool to make and started getting lumps of milk left at the bottom of the nuby after pouring it out? We shake vigorously and always prepare as instructed! Started happening in the last couple of weeks 😬😬

I have the same issue since I went above 150ml. I think it's because there isn't much space left in it to mix the water and formula. I usually tip it upside down 5 times and then when pouring out just give the last bit in the rapid cool a swirl to make sure all the formula comes out. It ends up completely dissolving by the time I feed my LO.

Yes we have upped from 180 to 210 and I think that’s when it started! Thank you we’ll give that a go! X

I’ve never added milk to the nuby rapid cool. Always done the hot shot method using the rapid cool that was you don’t have to sterilise it lol

I don’t put the milk in the rapid cool so I’m don’t have to sterilise. I measure out the water put in the rapid cool then put back into baby bottle then add milk. Sounds long winded but it’s probably the only way you won’t get any lumps

I do the hot shot method when I'm out and about but when I'm at home I put both the water and formula in and then just cold water sterilise afterwards.
