Does your baby self settle?

He’s never wide awake, he’s drowsy but awake. It happens more at nap time but working on it for nighttime sleep

Same as above, she’s always a bit drowsy…but I’ve watched her go from awake to self settling and asleep during a night time wake up before. Day time she requires a bit more help. She’ll suck her hands and pull her ear and make all the right noises of self soothing, but then she’ll get frustrated because she can’t do it

My girl can sort of self settle at night. I have to hold her hand until she’s drowsy then I’ll let go. Day time, no way. I still have to cuddle her and rock and bounce her u til drowsy then try and put her down but she’ll always cry for a cuddle.

Weirdly mine does goes to sleep for the first part of the night in her cot absolutely fine but the night wake ups and the day naps are a nightmare...
