I had an induction at 39+6 with my first daughter was 5-6 hours from start to finish no pain relief was a lovely experience but was then induced in march with my son I was 38+2 and he was not ready to come at all! Ended in emergency c section because I laboured for 3 days and he was so tired and was getting stressed!
@Kyrie Creed I’m 36+4 with gestational diabetes and baby was measuring 3.4kg already at 36 weeks growth scan with head and abdomen above the 95th centile. The doctor said rapid growth happens in these last few weeks especially with moms with GD and they need to avoid baby getting too big to pass through the birth canal without complications like shoulder dystocia, etc. It’s all so scary
saying a prayer for you momma!! it is all so scary but it’ll be so worth it
@Saskia Mae wow I expressed fear of ending up in an emergency cs after going through induction but the doctor said induction might more successful as I’ve given birth before. Same thing happened to my sister and friend…failed induction which led to an emergency cs
