Fetal movement

Hey ladies , I’m reaching the end and I need some advice . Did anyone notice decreased fetal movement at the end of their pregnancy ? If so would you recommend going to the hospital or is it normal ?

Not at all. I would definitely go get checked out. My girl is 39 weeks and I have a c section tomorrow and she’s a wild animal inside me.

I would go to er and get checked out. There could potentially be something going on if baby is moving less than usual.

100% experienced this! I even had weekly testing done due to being high risk. And even during my NST he did not move as much as he did earlier on in my pregnancy. They did assure me that he hit all marks during those tests and he was just born on the 10th happy and healthybut each pregnancy is different. I would always recommend calling your OB or going to the hospital because getting checked out is way safer than hoping for the best.

Definitely go to L&D! Never risk it!!

When I had decreased fetal movement I went straight to the hospital to make sure everything was okay, they sent me to labor and delivery and they did an NST and said everything was good. Always better to be safe then sorry

my dr has me chug a glass of cold water or eat/drink something sugary, then lay down with no distractions and they to feel them. 10 movements within two hours. any little flutter counts, if they move their foot from one side and right back, that’s two movements. also if you’re starting to stress, that’s could cause you body to be too tense to feel.

personally, some days my baby moves less than other days! so i always start with the task above before calling. but if youre nervous i would either try above, call dr, or go to er to get checked.

My little guy slowed down for a few days, making smaller movements but still passed his kick counts, I brought it up to my ob and she said as they run out of room they're movements might not be as strong and aggressive. If your baby isnt doing 10 moves in 2 hours, go to the hospital immediately.

Please don’t stress, get checked if you need to but my daughter slowed down for sure they run out of room to wiggle! Plus my placenta made it hard to notice the constant movements that weren’t so crazy! Also I slept harder towards the end so didn’t notice the crazy movement at night as much!

My doctor said when delivery is close, the movement changes. More subtle movements like twisting/turning, less rough kicking. You should always be able to regularly feel the baby though! If you're ever even a bit concerned, I would just give your doctor's office a call and see what they think. Never hurts to ask!

C - section

Hello lovelies, I’m getting closer to my date of c section.

Can I ask how it all went for you? I felt prepared and now I have this awful feeling what if I bleed out! I’m sure that’s not the case. But I just wondered how it went, and how the aftermath was. I have seen on social media people say it’s horrendous but then I speak to friends and family and they’re like yeah it’s not easy but you can cope! You can walk, etc. I think it’s the unknown… lol!

Also were you all sick during your procedure and did you all get terrible trapped gas? If so what tips do you have xx

Can you see anything? I’m 12 DPO 🙏

My own opinion is that this is inconclusive (can maybe see a vvvfl but could also be an indent too hard to tell) but curious what others see

Just want to sleep again! 🫩

I wake up around 8.30am, have some cereal, meditate/pray for a bit, make a cuppa and then by 10am I’m tired again and could easily nap. My iron levels have been checked and were fine. Is it just me or is anyone else feeling like this? I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant 👀

Best way to be induced??

I just found out I may need to be induced early due to preeclampsia and having a generally bigger baby which of the ways to be induced do y’all recommended?

This is a bit strange.. but hear me out

I am 36 weeks and 4 days today.
I had that feeling, you know when you are trying to take a tampon out on your end of period and it kind of hurts because the tampon is dry? I had that sensation today?

Now I feel like I have to push something about my vagina? It kinda tickles but uncomfortable. I’m not having any pains at all anywhere btw so can’t be baby ??
