I’m 23+2 with my second baby and still haven’t felt any movement of significance. A few flutters here and there but nothing I can be sure of. Absolutely NOTHING for the last couple of days.
I have a horrible feeling something isn’t right. I’ve messaged my midwife two days ago to tell her I’m worried and she hasn’t got back to me at all. I don’t want to be a pain and message her again, she’s ignored a message once before earlier in my pregnancy and it makes me feel awkward to pester her.
I can’t book a private scan because all of the availability they have for the next couple of days doesn’t work around my working hours and I don’t have child care for my toddler on the weekend (I know I could take him with me to a private scan but I don’t want him to be there if I have terrible news) the scan place is also an hours drive away and I don’t drive, my partner does.
I just feel so so worried and I have a feeling something isn’t right. What should I do?

Can you ask to see your midwife so she can do a heart beat check or pop down to the day unit at the hospital to have a scan?

I would ring the hospital / triage just to be safe 🫶🏻 always best to get checked over

Hi I'm 23+1 with my second baby and have been the same, last night is the first time I've felt any proper movement so I wouldn't worry just yet but just ring up your women's health unit if your worried and might be able to get a scan or ring your midwife base and see if they can listen in for the heartbeat
Thank you girls ❤️
I called the community midwives and they listened in and heard a heartbeat which was so reassuring xx
