Running

Is anyone’s 14-15 month old running? Our little guy runs all day throughout the house. We have a safe play area when we need to get stuff done, but he doesn’t last long in there and wants to be out and running around. What do you do to keep them occupied on something for more than 5 min? I’m exhausted 😭

Yes all day long.. she doesn't get tired. I put the TV on but she only pays attention for like 5 mins and then back to running

All dayyyyy. Nothing entertains him for more than 10-15 minutes. I just started closing all the doors upstairs. Put up a baby gate and let him run loose. 😅

My girl runs around the whole day too, lately balls have been a hit here, got a giant one for $2 at Walmart and she loves that, we also got a basketball hoop and she plays with that for a few min or just throw the ball around. The whole first floor is safe for her since she did start crawling so we’re all pretty comfortable with her just running around, we just close the bathroom doors and all good. Also, sometimes less is more, she has a whole play room upstairs full of toys and downstairs she got just two different toys and books, that helps her to pick one thing and concentrate on that for longer. Sometimes it doesn’t work, but it sure can help. Try some climbing gym or an indoor slide, those are in our rotation and they’re a hit too.

My oldest yeah but my youngest no

Yes! He's been running since 12mos! The only thing that slows him down is his routine. He's a stickler for it, and loves to snuggle and loves sleep times. Other than that, he's absolutely wild. Lol He's also decided he loves popits! He will sit and play with them for a bit, but not super long. Maybe 10 minutes. He also loves books, but again, 10 minutes max. The only thing he does for longer is going for walks (just got him a cute monkey backpack with a tether) and he will go for about 45 minutes non-stop. Thats when he wants to come home and snuggle. 😉 He sleeps 13yrs at night and naps for 2hrs. So he's definitely burning that energy running all day!
