The NHS guidelines are good, I'm 25w and just starting squirreling things away. For you I'd say, loose fitting nighties, pyjamas, knickers etc, maternity pads & disposable undies, breast pads, travel toiletries, change of clothes, headphones, books, possibly a neck fan / mini fan if you're an august mama! Long charger, witch hazel foam, peri bottle and spritz for bits & some cooling face spray, some head bands to keep it all out of my face. Slippers / flip flops, drawstring bag for any dirty laundry and some nappy sacks in my stuff to dispose of any pads I need to chuck.
For baby: nappies (I got two sizes and never can be quite sure), wipes, bepanthen, cotton pads, a couple of vests, sleep suits (no high tog as again summer baby), hats, scratch mitts, socks & going home outfits. Also going to pack some muslins and a cellular blanket. I'm not planning on bathing / washing her as she will benefit from the stuff on her skin (builds immune system up) but if you do I'd say the mustela rinse free wash is perf.

Forgot to add I also got a sleep mask and some extra ear plugs I don't care if they fall out or get lost rather than my loop ones, if I progress slowly and baby isn't here I'll be doing everything I can to get some rest!🤞🏻🤞🏻

I feel like I'm lastminute.comming everything right now haha. I'm 26 weeks and probably won't start putting hospital bag together until 35 weeks ish. I do have a list of what I need to get, so I'm starting to slowly buy bits and bobs but I'm not planning to have it ready to go until much later!

This is so helpful, I’m 26w+3, thank you so much 😭 xx

that's okay! I'm overly organised and it'll come in handy to even just have yours somewhat together as sometimes you can go in overnight even if it's not the big day just yet! 🤞🏻 Hopefully not. Also remember bottles of water & snacks and of course your hospital notes. Xx

I've prepared little girl's clothes, washed them and packed them in a sealed bag and I'm just waiting to find time to put the rest of the hospital bag together. With my first I had 2 separate overnights in the hospital before the third, final time, and he didn't get to the stage of being a full term baby. My first stay was at around 31 weeks and I'm now 27 so definitely feel the clock ticking this time around.
I also under packed my bag the first time, not bringing towels or hair dryer etc because I heard a lot of women saying they have been discharged the same day😅 I stayed in the hospital a whole week 🤦🏻♀️
