I’m on Effexor. Antidepressants have made my life so much better!

What’s the dosage ?

Love my Zoloft! Have taken 150mg for many years. No side effects for me really

she prescribed me 150 to start but said if it feels too much cut it in half or if it feels not enough to take two, it was up to me, nobody knows how I feel better than myself

She also said always take it with food

150 mg to start?! That’s a really high starting dose.

I’ve been on Zoloft for about 7 years and haven’t gotten over 100mg. Have you taken it before because that is quite high to start out at?

Oh thank god 😂 I was like dang you don’t have much to go higher. If your doctor gave you the room to play for with it which minded as well you could either try upping it to 75 by doing one and a half or upping it the full one to go to 100. I found 75 worked for me the most but postpartum with my second I felt out of control and needed more. The 100mg helped a lot since then!

I've been on 50 MG of zoloft since about 4 months PP, I'm 9 months PP now and it's been a huge help... I never realized how much anxiety I was dealing with even pre pregnancy lol it's literally changed my life and it's safe to take while breastfeeding! So that's been a plus

DONT miss a day! And try to take it at roughly the same time every day... I've had no side effects except felt extremely depressed angry and drained when I forgot to take it one day

It lowered my libido to 0. I switched to Wellbutrin but have hand tremors... Don't know which one I'd rather have... Good luck to you. Hope it helps. ❤️

I’m currently on Zoloft and I love it. I do have a bit of insomnia/weird dreams but the trade off is worth it. I was going bat shit crazy. I was on Lexapro but I couldn’t orgasm on that medication and I was having terrible nightmares.

I HATED this medication the few times I’ve been on and off it over the years. It did not help with depression or anxiety, it made it worse. Last time I was on it (November 2024), I was hospitalized for depression/suicidal thoughts and ideation and hallucinations. It was awful.

I take it an the only thing is, is I can't take it during the day I can fall asleep anywhere so I take it at night. But im on propranolol it's originally for blood pressure but it helps with anxiety an panic attacks

I take Zoloft. Started with 25mg and now at 100 mg. when I starrted the first couple of months, I felt super cloudy and my hands and feet would sweat a lot. Once my body got used to it, no side effects.
