Hospital bag

What is everyone packing in their hospital bags, I’m a first time mamma and want to make sure I have everything I need but at the same time not taking too much 🙈

A disposable camera is the only thing I’ve packed that’s outside of the normal recommended things. Had one with our first born and getting the photos developed and having those raw moments back that I’d forgotten was so special!

Thats whats on mine. Hopefully i havent forgotten anything :) first time here to x

I packed my bag today and this is my list if it helps! I have this shared with my partner on notes so he knows where everything is! I plan to leave the changing bag in the car and bring it in only if needed! I feel like I have over packed but the hospital is an hour round trip for us, so want to avoid my partner having to leave to grab anything where possible x

Do you put nappy bag bits in baby main hospital bag and take it in with you or do you have a separate nappy bag and keep it in the car?

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
