I’m 35 weeks and 4 days and I know babies don’t move as often because of the lack of room . My son had a field trip at the zoo today so I went as a chaperone and I noticed baby wasn’t moving as much . When I got home I showered and laid down to help relax which I did feel baby move but I feel like he isn’t moving as much as he usually does . I feel small movements here and there but I know you’re supposed to feel a certain amount within a couple of hours. Should I be concerned or let it be , like I said I know babies don’t move as much as they get bigger and the lack of room.

if there’s any food/drinks you have that make your baby move a lot try that and see if you get him moving around more!

Drink something cold, eat something sweet, put some ice cubes on your belly and a flash light, if after doing that you don’t feel movement after 30 min go to L&D

Specially if you usually feel your baby move a lot

unless your super worried about or have a bad feeling maybe wait it out? but depends on you and how u feel about it! Personally my baby has super active periods and then basically doesn’t move or i feel anything for hours or so. And he’s perfectly good and so am i no complications! definitely go with ur gut tho maybe try the yoga ball if you have one or eat some food

I ate some sour patch kids which usually helps , I’m giving it like 15-30 minutes but I did feel a little kick so I think he’s good

I just dealt with this this morning. Baby hadn’t woken up like usual. I ate a Twix and drank a fizzy flavored water and wiggled my belly and it woke him up after a bit.
I’d say if you drink something cold and sweet and baby doesn’t move within 15-30 then I’d go get checked out. I believe kick counts are 10 movements in 1-2 hours

I eat the harbor sour spagetti whenever I get worried about movement!! It’s something about the sour candy’s that get them moving! I hope all is well<3

Haribo***

My dr told me to drink cold water or juice and then count to 10 kicks (2 hour time frame) as long as you hit the 10 she said baby is good.
Mine stopped moving so much too and it worried me cause she’s always so active

you should lay down without your phone or any distractions and just focus on baby’s movement

You were likely walking around a good bit today baby was probably asleep all day

Update : first off thank you ladies for the tips ! I ate some sweets and drank cold water , baby boy is moving . I agree with , I think all the movement I did today had baby sleeping all day.

I had an ultrasound today and was concerned about my baby’s movement as well but remembered that all I had done was clean up since I’d been awake and sit in the car. The tech said that baby girl seemed to be in a deep sleep
