I give up. I feel like i have tried every nappy out there and every poo leaks!! This morning leaked all over my bed 😭😭
Flaps are out on the nappies and he's already size 5, size 6 is way too big. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. With my daughter i swore by pampers but not good this time.

Aww no, this used to happen to us because my LO has CMPA, it's so annoying when it's the bed isn't it! 😩 We had to put him on blue continence sheets wherever we sat him it was horrendous! Something we did was size up in vests to ensure minimal pressure so it didn't go up his back. Also maybe size up nappies too so more space for it to go and ensure tied well at the waist. We size up and use pampers pull ups at night but he doesn't explode the same anymore so unsure if it will work for definite xx

do you size up on vests? i found this to be the most helpful as it gives extra nappy space!
@Beth pull ups is something we've been debating cause he wriggles so much. We did try some size 6 pampers but still leaked. My daughter was in size 6 when she potty trained at 2 🙈 definitely gonna try sizing up vests cause he is a long boy
definitely going to try this !!

We switched to cloth with my daughter and this was one of the biggest factors for the change!
I know cloth isn’t for everyone but when we go on holiday and use disposables we use a nappy wrap over the top of the disposable. Most of the time you can reuse the same one all day and then just quickly rinse and dry and it’s ready again but when baby does do a big explosive nappy is saves so many outfits! You would probably find your washing reduced if you’re already washing lots of extra outfits

My friend said that with pull ups you size down rather than up?

oh how come? The bigger they are the more they hold I would have thought. We were told by a sleep consultant that helps with overnight so you don't have to change them until morning (for pee)

If you’ve got the funds for it peachies are great my little boy used to leak all the time in pampers when he was younger but very rarely in peachies, now he’s older we’ve switched back to pampers and they seem to fit him a lot better now x

We use Tesco’s Fred and Flo nappies and they are very good . Try size down and pull up till mid hip .
@Prithi we've tried Tesco and they leak. Size 4 are too small for him

Cloth nappies are honestly the way forward. 6 months in and I've had zero leaks or blow outs in them. The only leaks we've had are when we've used disposables while out and about ( supposed to be for ease!) But now we take cloth out with us because we literally have a wee or poop leak every time we use a disposable 😅

@Beth I think it was to do with the fit? So it's not too big and allowing for gaps

Try Peachies nappies. They’re pricey but excellent 👌🏼

We tried every brand and type under the sun for our LO. Peachies didn’t work and cloth were a disaster for us ( though we’re going to try again in the day), the only thing that worked were pull ups! We used size 4 but are tempted to move up to size 5 for night
@Naomi I've been tempted by pull ups just cause nappy change time can be fun now he's on the move so think I'll go for it. What brand pull ups do you use?

They can be even tricker to get on but stay in place with all the wiggling! We just use Sainsbury’s ☺️
