CMPA / Reflux Advice

My daughter is three weeks old, I have seen two doctors due to her having a large swollen tummy (often hard).
I was breastfeeding her and the first doctor recommended trying her on nurtamigen 1 formula, day four today and no difference.
Tummy still very big and she is always unsettled after her feeds, arches her back, clenches her fists and cries. She does burp after every feed and has regular bowel movements.
I’m at a loss to whether she does have allergy or is just so bloated and gassy.
How long should I give for the milk to work?

I have tried Dentiox and Infacol it’s not really made any difference and also biycle legs, tummy time and tummy massage again no improvement.

She has very unsettled sleep too, constantly kicking her legs and grunting until she wakes again for a feed.

I’m really at a loss, it’s so sad seeing her so uncomfortable.

did you continue with the diary free formula or go back to normal? X

I would be reluctant to stop breastfeeding when there’s so many benefits. I’d start by monitoring what you’re eating and what her symptoms are, to see if there’s a trend. I had to cut dairy, soy and eggs (after a lot of monitoring and one at a time) and my boy was so much more settled (and his eczema cleared)
