weight loss

Hello

I have been feeling really low about my body.
before I was pregnant I was a size 6 ( I was very under weight) 2 years later and I am now a size 12)14. I feel absolutely awful about myself.

I really want to lose weight but I don't have any one to watch my daughter so I can go to the gym or even go for a run.

I was wondering where to even begin and what sort of work outs I can do at home that will help?

does anyone have any exercise routines they did daily you would share with me please? one that you have actually found worked.

Thankyou so much

I’m in this boat right now too. I gained 85 pounds during pregnancy and I was super tiny before, size 2 now I’m 3 months postpartum and Ina size 8. What helped me (so far I’ve lost over 50lbs and have 30 sum more to go) I’d take the baby on walks as much as I possibly can, and I’ll do workouts from home using her as a weight 😂 also idk if you have lots of stairs like me but I think all the running up and down the stairs to do laundry has helped ALOT lol

Be kind and gentle to your mind, soul, and BODY! 🌻 there are apps for at home exercises that are short and quick. It's all about consistency. Yoga is a great and gentle way to get your body back in shape. But remember, it shouldn't just be about your outter image if it means eating at you inner (mind and spirit). Also, if this has been a yo-yo area in your life, faulty core belief systems or even generational/childhood trauma that can be cleared first before sustainable success. 🙏🏼✨️💚💚💚

It’s more about what you’re eating. If you count calories and eat in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. Exercise helps but is not necessary for weight loss. I’ve only been counting calories and going on a 30 min walk everyday and I’ve lost 20lbs so far xx

I do lots of walks with the baby around my neighbourhood.
Dont put pressure on yourself to exercise daily if youre just starting out. Try and aim for 1-2 walks or quick workouts a week. 🤍

It's 70-80% about eating, only 20-30% is about exercise.
I was a size 6, 3 months post-partum, I'm size 6 again.

Not telling you to do this, neither am I a doctor, but OMAD is what worked for me. No need of gym, or even stepping out of the house. I lost over 45 KGs with it within a year

Find a gym w a crèche. Or take baby out all day and get your steps in. Or choose a fitness class around 6-7pm and leave baby home w Dad and he can do bedtime routine once or twice a week. From 4m I did a Pilates and Zumba class, 6-7pm lessons, twice a week. Then I found free salsa lessons at 18m and started going to that, but by then I’d lost all my baby weight of 44lbs and gotten my confidence back hence started dance lessons…I took baby out every day and didn’t come home until after his second nap so getting my 10k steps in was easy for me. Go out, take the baby out, push the pram. And try to look for a gym w a crèche if hubby won’t look after the baby after hours. I was a 6-8 and then maternity I bought 8-10 and now I’m back to a 6-8, mostly an 8, a S on Shein everything I buy is S I can probably fit a XS but I don’t like it too tight so an S fits me perfectly. I’m on an Asian diet so lots of fruit veggies and some meat, lots of bone broth and soups.
