I’m 7 months post c section and my periods have been irregular. I’ve been bleeding now to 15 days. It started off really light like spotting and it’s been getting heavier. I’m not in pain but I filled out an online form for the doctor and didn’t have an appointment I just got booked into have a blood test in 2 weeks. Should I call again on Monday if it hasn’t slowed down/stopped and ask to be seen earlier?

It’s very normal for our periods to be out of whack for up to 2 years after pregnancy.
My first few post birth were super heavy and irregular but it settled after a few back to normal. You know your body but don’t fret too much. Your body and hormones are still recovering and there’s no strict rules or timelines to what’s meant to happen after birth.
thank you, I am losing weight and have heard that can cause irregular bleeding too but I just can’t help but worry there’s something wrong as I’ve had a c section and just worried something is wrong with my uterus. Probably silly but it’s just playing on my mind x

I think there's nothing wrong with going to the doctors to be seen. My periods were really heavy and long around 2 years postpartum, I had an ultrasound and blood test, and was even referred to the gynecologist (which is rare in the UK) and everything was fine, I decided to go on the pill to slow down the bleeding.
A friend had bad bleeding which didn't stop and was honestly insanely heavy, like multiple fist sized clots a day. She became very unwell and eventually had to have an ablation cause it had caused her to become severely anemic
