I did. I just adjust the seat where it was most comfortable for my scar

Yup. Both times I was driving at 2 weeks. I had dr appointments to go to and hubby was already back at work.

I asked my doctor and she said there would be nothing to stop me, but if I had to do an emergency brake it was quite likely I could reopen the incision, so to be on the safe side to hold off for the full 6 weeks. I'm glad I did because around week 5 I went back a bit in my recovery due to rushing things and it meant I was in quite a bit of pain when the pain was pretty much gone

I did not drive until 3 to 3 1/2

Yes. An hour to and from the NICU

I wasn’t told I couldn’t drive post op from my cesarean. I made short trips after 5 days PP. I had no issues.

I drove 4 days PP. my doctor said as long as I could check my blind spots and slam on my brakes in an emergency, I was good to drive.

I didn’t drive for 3-4 months by myself and was too scared to drive with my baby until maybe 6 months?

Yes, but I needed a pillow against my stomach for comfort

I did at 2 weeks pp (this past Thursday) to take my son to pediatrician. I had no other option since hubby was at work and couldn’t leave early. I adjusted the seat and put the seat belt where it didn’t fall on incision. The doctors office was about 25 mins away from home.

I did.

The WIC office scheduled an appointment 10 days after my C-section

I did. My doctors after my first two told me two weeks, I was told 4-6 weeks after my 3rd but I was driving at 2 weeks

I drive to our 7 day appointment . I would’ve been capable of driving after 3/4 days but didn’t have a reason to until that appointment

I was driving less than 2 weeks pp, my Dr cleared me when I left the hospital after delivery since I wasn't taking any pain meds (just Tylenol/ibuprofen). He said as soon as I was comfortable it was fine. You may want to check with your insurance though, some companies apparently have a clause for when you can drive pp?

I had to because my husband went back to work.

I was driving as soon as I got out of the hospital. I didn’t know there were rules on driving oops

I drove at 2 weeks

Remember if doctors advise you not to drive and you drive anyways your insurance may not be valid

3 weeks here but probably could’ve done 2 weeks just didn’t need to as fiancé was off

At my 2 week appt my doctor cleared me to drive.

Yep, 2 weeks pp. I was going nutty not being able to drive

I drove at 3 weeks and also lifted pram/car seat in and out myself x
