Aldi formula

Hey, I’m planning on formula feeding my daughter who’s due in July. I work in childcare and am familiar with a few different brands of formula milk, just wondering if anyone has tried the Aldi formula from newborn and what your thoughts were? Any other recommendations and why also please ❤️

Our baby has been on it from the start and he’s thriving - super impressed with it! xx

My girl liked it, we only changed as her poo was like pebbles but that might have just been her not agreeing with it. My health visitor said the mums she’s seen with the most content baby’s and no stomach issues have been on Aldi’s formula so it’s definitely good x

My eldest was in it from birth with absolutely no issues. My second was on it from 8 months again with absolutely no issues! We loved it and it was so much cheaper than a lot of the named brands. Also it’s made in the same factory and to almost the exact same recipe as Aptamil. So if we were going out for the day I’d buy the little ready made bottles of Aptamil and switch back and forth with those and the Mamia powder at home with no problems.

It's exactly the same as every other brand on the market nutritionally otherwise it wouldn't be able to be sold.

I mean I’m going by 9 years ago but I switched when someone told me it’s the same as aptamil! And had no problems at all. I’ve also used it for my youngest when I stopped breastfeeding - just 2 bottles at a friends house, there was no adverse reaction and she had been on kendamil x

Tbh I watches a documentary once that said literally all of it is the same because it legally has to meet specific standards. So all that expensive branded stuff is the same as cheap store brand. It's also why midwives aren't allowed to tell you/recommend specific brands 👀 the more you know!
