Magnesium Drip for preeclampsia

Hi lovely yes I did! I had pre eclampsia from 34 weeks controlled, delivered 36w planned then got v ill after section and ended up on all the infusions! I literally felt like I’d been hit by a bus, the drs said it was all the drugs and the effect of PET on your systems, my kidney function went off etc. My PET peaked again like 3 days PP and I had to have more drugs but I felt better within a few days! Is your iron ok? As I turned out to be anaemic too and that made me feel bad too! Hope you’re ok, PET is scary. Congrats on your baby! XXX

Ps you have delivered right?

I have postpartum preeclampsia so I had my mag drip after my baby was born. So I had a newborn and was recovering from my c section so it’s hard to tell what symptoms are from what. But I would say it took a good few days to start to think straight again

thank you!! Came home Saturday around 4pm and I seem to be gaining strength back. Yes, I delivered before the mag drip. Had to go back into the hospital after I had been home with baby for a few days.

seems like today is much better than yesterday 💕
