Toddler reins?

Hi all. Tbh, I hate the idea of toddler reins it makes me feel like someone’s walking a dog 😂 but I’m seriously considering it..my son is absolutely feral and not sure what else to do at this point. He wants to walk but runs off and he is seriously fast 😂

we use reins! they make walking a lot safer, they stop little ones from running off, walking away when you take your eyes off them for a split second and, as awful as this sounds, stops evil people/deters them from grabbing your babe x

I was hesitant but love our toddler backpack reins. I know I’m literally connected to her then so if I have to take my eyes off her for a moment to see where I’m going etc then I’m less worried if she’ll dart off. She sometimes refuses to hold my hand, go in the pram or be carried so they were a necessity for us!

I feel a bit the same but it has made life easier when we go out. Our little girl doesn't always want to hold hands anymore either and also likes to sprint off! It does just give that bit of reassurance that they are attached to you and can't just run off.

Girl use the reins. It’s for his safety and your sanity 😂 ignore anyone if they comment on it, it’s just temporary for safety x

@Jess I think that why I feel the way I do it’s the comments from other people when I mention it 😂x

Since becoming a mum I’ve realised you have to ignore everyone else’s opinion and do what’s best for you and your baby! Toddlers are feral, we’re all hanging on for dear life 😂 so do what’s best and ignore anyones irrelevant comments x
