When and where did your waters go?

I was asleep and they didn’t fully break, but started leaking. I went to hospital in the morning and they confirmed it was my waters. Waited 24hr at home and my labour still wasn’t starting so I went to hospital to be induced 😭

My water broke at home around 6:45am… I too thought I had peed myself as it was very little fluid and I indeed had to pee which was why I woke up lol. I never lost my mucus plug and had to have an emergency c section.

Went to bed at midnight, sat and suddenly got up running to the toilet shouting I PEED MYSELF!!! I did not actually pee myself apparently 🤣 think all was together? It was a big pool I didn't actually check it lol

I was walking up my stairs then ran to the bathroom and ALL of my waters came out I was sat on the floor for like 30 min waiting for it all to come out hahah

I was watching a film on the sofa and went warm down below so went to my kitchen as it was the closest place with tiled floor! When mine went it was like Out of a movie it went everywhere, I had a lot of water!

lost my mucus plug in the toilet, but i had lost it a few weeks prior also, went to the hospital the next morning g & was 2cm, had a sweep as i was due to be induced the next day anyway, labour was painful (blame it on the sweep lol) & then waters broke just before i started pushing- didn’t even feel them break!

I was already in labour in hospital when the midwife was checking how far dialated I am and accidentally popped my waters, it was such a weird feeling like a water balloon was popped inside and the water came gushing out it was honestly like something out of a movie, there was so much and it just kept pouring out for ages afterwards so we went through quite a few puppy pads 😅

With my first I was induced and my waters kinda never broke.....The midwife was shocked as I had been in hospital almost half a day , So she broke them with some instrument . With my second I was 22wks and walking down the road! I was admitted to hospital and gave birth at 24wks, he's now 3yrs old. With my 3rd the labour came on very fast and my waters broke at hospital!

I had just woken up and was sat in bed browsing my phone and felt leaking

I was at home in bed at 1am

I was at home thank god. Woke up 5am thinking I’d weed myself 😂

Lost my mucus plug during a sweep at the hospital while I was in early labor, sent home for things to hopefully progress, all went wrong and had to go in for emergency section 🙈

1.30 In The morning, I was just getting up of the sofa to go to bed, and literally felt like someone had flicked my insides, stood up and they gushed all over the my PJ's and the floor😳😂 from then until I have birth I had constant mucus coming away 🤮 56 hours later I had an emergency c section.

Asleep for first. Hospital for 2nd.

i was in the car otw to hospital water broke driving there (30-40 min away) it was a pop and gush like uncontrollable pee/fluid like i had peed myself, almost had baby in the car.

Idk what time exactly but I think it was around 11 am? I was having contractions since I think 4am that day, and I laid down to rest and try to nap. Broke on the bed, then took 20 min to get to the hospital, and 10 more for me to deliver. Baby was here at 11:36am

my mucus plug/bloody show came out late at night, went into labor a few hours later and my water didn’t break until i was in the hospital like 20 hours later

I woke up at 4 am thinking I wet the bed or something but the flow didnt stop so I figured my water broke

On our new sofa 🤣

Firstborn; around 10pm at night, I had the urge to 'wee' - turned out to be something else😅 Second born; around 5am in the morning - pretty much the same situation. Nothing too drastic.

Honestly mine was very anticlimactic lol I started slowly leaking around 12/1 and by 9 PM I was in a whole lotta pain and went in. If I hadn’t been having contractions I honestly wouldn’t have thought my water broke

Midwife broke my waters and they had meconium in it

My water broke a tiny bit at home on our bed & I thought it was pee lol. When we finally got to the hospital, it started gushing out like a faucet & had turned brown bc my daughter had 💩😑 I had to wear a towel between my legs until it stopped. It was sooo gross 🥴

Mine went on the toilet! Very convenient 🤣 I felt a pop and the trickle was non stop, it wasn't like a wee when you can get and hold it in. That's how I knew.

First time was 3am, I squatted down to pick my phone up and they popped like a balloon Second time I went for a wee before calling the hospital to go in and they started leaking. The main waters went when I was on triage and instantly started pushing. He was crowning by the time I got on the bed and everyone freaked out because they thought i was just being dramatic when I said I could feel his head

I was in my bedroom and 6am

my waters broke at my pre op appointment for my c-section 😂 i wanted a VBAC and tried so hard to have one, had 4 sweeps and in the end, nothing! so then i agreed to a section, but at the pre op appt i said i needed the loo and as i got off the chair i felt a pop and it trickled down my leg and then gushed all over my Birkenstocks and on the floor! 😂😂 the section still went ahead because of babies heartrate but i was so embarrassed, i leaked all over the midwifes office 😂😂

mine went at 5am, in bed 🥲 luckily i managed to jump out of bed, but i was in shock for a good 1-2 minutes so just kinda stood at the end of the bed, waters coming out, staring at my sleeping partner 🤦🏼‍♀️

My waters popped when I was pushing baby out!

6am in the morning, had a really bad cramp and sat on the toilet hoping to do number two. Then since nothing was coming, I wiped and there was my mucus plug…thick discharge and some blood in it.

Mine went at about 1.30 in the morning in bed whilst I was 90 miles from home at an air b&b on a family holiday 😫
