Colic

Has anyone got any tips to help with a colic baby. Really struggling in the evening with my little girl to help settle her.

Have you tried Infacol? We tried it for our baby and it worked almost immediately😊

Dentinox I have seen recommended, we tried infacol but made her a bit constipated (unsure if it was that or coincidence) but have some dentinox arriving today đŸ€žđŸŒ

We used dentinox and it really helped, we just put it in his bottle as and when neededâ˜ș

I used infacol which really helped. I'd check with your HV but mine did suggest slightly raising my daughter head up by folding a towel and putting it under the mattress as my daughters colic was sooo much better when her head was slightly raised compared to flat. I wouldn't do this without some advise first though as babies are meant to lay flat.

need advice too, my three week old has just been the last three hours screaming and is barely inconsolable. he will then manage to fall asleep on me for about five ten minutes and then go back to screaming xx

Dentinox colic drops really helped with both my little ones!

Try cranio sacral therapy- colic is a symptom of something else so best to treat the problem rather than cover the symptoms

I used dentinox which worked for us really well, Infacol made our LO constipated. We also got a little band you put around their belly, just stick it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Don’t think it did anything medical but helped soothe her, probably felt like a very warm continuous hug

Infacol, Gripe water, and BioGaia. Bicycle legs, and sitting straight back, moving hips in circular motion while winding. Dummy also helps with releasing trapped gas, or sucking on something.

Any generic colic medicine (infacol is meant to be the best but I use boots 3.99 which seems to help), feed your baby as upright as possible, wind them as often as you feel is best and once they’ve finished drinking keep them upright for as long as you can before putting them down to bed! A rolled up blanket under my baby boys feed often helps too!

infacol should work ! x

I also use infacol and bounce my son on a birthing ball to get rid of burps and wouldn’t be without it now-best thing we ever bought as a gentle way to get the burp up

My baby would cry for 2 hours on a night once we started infacol she settled pretty much straight away I’d defo recommend trying infacol

We got gaviscon prescription, and a bit of gripe water to counter the constipation side effects and she's like a different baby this week! She's a joy!
